Google Chrome OS Or “The Chromium Projects” Is the new Linux based Operation system was design by Google, In the July 7, 2009 Google Announced Google Chrome OS and they said this Operation System will be ready in second half of 2010. Chromium OS is an open-source and it’s Really Fast !!! and Secure , The problem is we will not be able to download this OS and Run it on our PC’s As Google said “operating system will only ship on specific hardware from Google’s manufacturing partners”.
The Chromium Projects is 100% Depends on The Internet, it’s all about the web. All apps are web apps. Everything is happening within Browser and there are no conventional desktop , That’s means you will not install , manage or even update your programs. The Great Thing that I really Like in Google Chrome OS is The Chromium Projects doesn’t trust the applications you run. Each app is contained within a security sandbox making it harder for malware and viruses to infect your computer. The Other Thing is the speed of the OS it’s Just Amazing !!

i have tested chrome os both at home and at work, it does not seem to be better than ubuntu~`.
Chrome OS is at par with the current GUI release of Linux`;~
